Tang Soo Do Karate

This traditional Korean martial art form provides an interesting and challenging way to improve mental and physcial fitness while practicing such self-defense skills as blocking, punching, kicking, and maneuvering. Develop confidence, awareness, respect, and self-discipline as a part of your daily way of life. Youngsters, seniors, men, and women are welcome.

T'ai Chi Ch'uan (Yang Style)

This ancient Chinese exercise form consists of a series of classical martial arts postures that gracefully flow together in slow motion. It is an enjoyable activity for both the mind and body since it emphasizes mental tranquility, inner awareness, and relaxation while learning and practicing. It is especially rewarding for older adults.

Michael Conniry's Tai Chi Chuan teacher is Master Chang Lien-Gway.

Iaijutsu (Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu Iaijutsu)

A 450-year-old tradition of the Japanese martial art of Iaido, this ancient system of sword drawing incorporates the techniques and fundamentals of Samurai philosophy, tradition, and history. Practice in daily life leads to self-mastery and clarity of purpose.

Michael Conniry's Iaijutsu teacher is Masayuki Shimabukuro Hanshi.

Kobudo (Weapons)

Traditional Okinawan Kobudo  incorporates the use of  the following weapons - the Bo (staff), Sai (three-pronged weapon), Nunchaku, Kama,Tonfa, Iyeku.
